WHAT: Preparation for industry recognized CCNA certification.
WHERE: 600 Stinson Blvd.
WHEN: Starts
Meets two nights per week for 10 weeks; Exact days to be
determined.
Monday and Wednesday nights (3 or 3.5 hours each)
Tuesday and Thursday nights (3 or 3.5 hours each)
WHO: Available to eligible Qwest employees and CWA members

1) VoIP - Convergence Technologies Series (63 Hours)
2) Fiber Optics / Certified Fiber Optic Technician (30 Hours)

4) Cisco Certified Network Association Preparation (60 Hours)
5) Network Security+ (60 Hours)

Osborne, Sullivan & Merriman Scholarship Winners!
The Osborne, Sullivan & Merriman Scholarship drawings were held at the June 2, 2010 Stewards/Membership Meeting . We received six applications: three young women and three young men. The winners of the two - $1,000 scholarships are:
Trevor Dupont, son of Joyce Dupont
Beverly Mwangi, daughter of Joyce Mwangi
Congratulations to both scholarship winners! The Local hopes to have the winners & their parents attend the next Stewards/Membership Meeting (July 7, 2010) for the Awards Presentation.
